51st al-Da\u2019I al-Mutlaq Syedna Taher Saifuddin RA\u2019s name \u201cTaher\u201d (meaning pure and chaste) bears testimony to the works and efforts he took upon during his tenure of fifty years. He removed hostile elements from the haram of Da\u2019wah, cleansing the atmosphere for the true devoted followers. Imamuz zamaan AS graced him with victories against enemies of Da\u2019wah-which affirms that he was indeed Saifuddin; sword of Deen.<\/p>\n
The 52nd al-Da\u2019I al-Mutlaq was named \u201cMohammed\u201d (meaning praise worthy),with the name of our Nabi Mohammed Rasulullah SAW. Allah has praised him in Qura\u2019n-e-Karim saying, “\u0648\u064e\u0625\u0650\u0646\u064e\u0651\u0643\u064e \u0644\u064e\u0639\u064e\u0644\u0649 \u062e\u064f\u0644\u064f\u0642\u064d \u0639\u064e\u0638\u0650\u064a\u0645\u064d ” (Indeed you are of exalted character).<\/p>\n
Syedna Taher Saifuddin RA praised the exalted virtues of his successor Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin RA in many of his writings and speeches.<\/p>\n
Amongst the Du\u2019at Mutlaqeen RA the third Da\u2019i to be bestowed with the laqab of \u201cSaifuddin\u201d (Sword of Deen) is our beloved Maula the 53rd al-Da\u2019i al-Mutlaq Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin TUS. His name Aali Qadr (meaning of a high rank and position) Mufaddal (the virtuous and the preferred one) and laqab Saifuddin the position and virtues he was destined for.<\/p>\n
On the birth of Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin TUS, Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin RA sought his name from Syedna Taher Saifuddin RA. Syedna Taher Saifuddin RA named the new born \u201cAali Qadr Mufaddal\u201d, the numerical value of which adds up to 1365; the year in which he was born.<\/p>\n
If we look into the literal translations of the words qadr (\u0642\u062f\u0631) , fadl (\u0641\u0636\u0644) and Mufaddal (\u0645\u0641\u0636\u0644) we get the following:

\nfadl (\u0641\u0636\u0644) : merits, graciousness, virtues, good qualities.

Syedna Taher Saifuddin RA with his farsightedness saw that the new born will succeed his successor Mohammed Burhanuddin, He chose the name which alluded to Nass.<\/p>\n
Later, Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin RA graced his successor and heir Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin TUS with this hand written aayah sharifah: \u0642\u064f\u0644\u0652 \u0625\u0650\u0646\u064e\u0651 \u0627\u0644\u0652\u0641\u064e\u0636\u0652\u0644\u064e \u0628\u0650\u064a\u064e\u062f\u0650 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0651\u0647\u0650 \u064a\u064f\u0624\u0652\u062a\u0650\u064a\u0647\u0650 \u0645\u064e\u0646 \u064a\u064e\u0634\u064e\u0627\u0621 (All the bounties are in the hand of Allah; He grants to whom He wills.) \u0648\u064e\u0627\u0644\u0644\u064e\u0651\u0647\u064f \u0630\u064f\u0648 \u0627\u0644\u0652\u0641\u064e\u0636\u0652\u0644\u0650 \u0627\u0644\u0652\u0639\u064e\u0638\u0650\u064a\u0645\u0650 (Allah is the owner of great bounty.)<\/p>\n
The above alamah sharifah signifies the continuity of the indication given by Syedna Taher Saifuddin RA by when he named the new born \u201cAali Qadr Mufaddal.\u201d Besides, Indeed. Rutbah of Itlaq is bestowed by the Fadl of Imamuz zamaan AS.<\/p>\n
The laqab sharif; \u201cSaifuddin\u201d was bestowed by Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin RA upon Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin TUS immediately after the wafaat of Syedna Taher Saifuddin RA on his zikra milad Mubarak. This marked the continuation of \u201cSaifee Burhani Barakaat.\u201d<\/p>\n
In the year 1388, Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin RA appointed Syedna Aali Qadr Mufaddal Saifuddin TUS his heir successor and wrote in his munajat of Lailatul Qadr that year:<\/p>\n
