He fought in the battles of Badr and Ohod and was known for his courage and austerity. He was one of the four for whom Rasulullah<sup>SA<\/sup> said, \u201cJannat yearns for four: Ali, Salman, Miqdad and Ammar.\u201d<!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In another <em>hadith<\/em>, he said, \u201cMy Lord has directed me to do the <em>mohabbat<\/em> of four: Ali, Salman, Miqdad and Ammar.\u201d Maulana Miqdad\u2019s <sup>RA<\/sup> lofty status can be gauged from these <em>ahaadith<\/em> (pl. of <em>hadith<\/em>) of Rasulullah <sup>SA<\/sup> and also from Maulana Ali\u2019s <sup>SA<\/sup> <em>kalaam<\/em>, \u201cThe earth has been created for the sake of seven people; it is due to them that all others receive sustenance, rainfall, and succour.\u201d Moulana Miqdad <sup>RA<\/sup> was one of those whom he named.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Rasulullah<sup>SA<\/sup> solemnised Moulana Miqdad\u2019s <sup>RA<\/sup> marriage with Dhuba\u2019ah binte Zubair bin Abdul Mutallib, a cousin of Rasulullah<sup>SAW<\/sup>, from the tribe of Quraish, and used it as an example to show how marriages should be formalised with the utmost ease. In line with this wish of Rasulullah <sup>SA<\/sup>, Duat Mutlaqeen have continued to make efforts in facilitating the <em>nikaah<\/em> of Mumineen.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Islamic historians remember Moulana Miqdad <sup>RA<\/sup> as a true <em>shia\u00b4h<\/em> of Moulana Ali <sup>SA<\/sup>.
