Addressing mumineen who had gathered for Ashara Mubaraka 1425H in Dubai, Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin RA declared, \u201cYou are muslimeen; and you are mumineen. You are mumineen; you are muslimeen…and Rasulallah SAW is the first of all muslimeen!\u201d Allah has given us the esteemed honor and privilege of being not only muslimeen and mumineen, but of being Rasulallah\u2019s SAW <\/span>ummat.<\/span><\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Rasulallah SAW brought the Islamic faith to us and founded his <\/span>shariah<\/span><\/i>. He taught us the seven pillars of Islam and how to adhere to them. From the very start, he extolled and solidified the significance of his successor, Maulana Ali AS and his <\/span>mohabbat. <\/span><\/i>After Rasulallah SAW received Allah\u2019s divine message and ascended to prophethood, Maulana Ali AS was the first to enter into Islam. Rasulallah SAW called Maulana Abdul Muttalib\u2019s AS family and asked Maulana Ali AS to bring one pitcher of milk and a goat\u2019s leg. Of the 40 men, there were some who would need an entire goat and pitcher of milk to satiate their hunger. But, by the <\/span>barakat <\/span><\/i>of Rasulallah SAW, their hunger was remarkably assuaged by this small portion. Addressing everyone, Rasulallah SAW asked, \u201cWho will be my legatee (<\/span>vasi) <\/span><\/i>and <\/span>vali<\/span><\/i>?\u201d He was met with resounding silence. When no one replied, Rasulallah SAW asked them all one by one. Still, all remained quiet. Finally, Rasulallah SAW approached Maulana Ali AS, and asked, \u201cO\u2019 brother Ali, will you be my <\/span>vasi <\/span><\/i>and <\/span>vali<\/span><\/i>?\u201d To which Maulana Ali AS replied resolutely, \u201cYes, O\u2019 Rasulallah!\u201d Thus, this was Rasullah\u2019s SAW first proclamation of Maulana Ali AS as his successor, and indication that the foundation and the lifeblood of Islam is his <\/span>ta\u2019at <\/span><\/i>and <\/span>mohabbat.\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

Love and submission to Allah\u2019s will sustains our faith. True <\/span>mohabbat<\/span><\/i> is achieved through the acceptance, understanding, and <\/span>ta\u2019at<\/span><\/i> of <\/span>Kalemat al Shahadat<\/span><\/i> and Awliyaa Kiraam AS. No action, no prayer, no good deed is counted and rewarded without their <\/span>mohabbat.<\/span><\/i> In doing so, and in submitting to Allah\u2019s will, we become recipients of Allah\u2019s love.<\/span><\/p>\n

Rasulallah SAW saw Allah twice: once with his heart and once with his eyes. Rasulallah SAW stated, \u2018Blessed are those who have seen me; blessed are those who have seen those who have seen me; and blessed are those, who have seen those, who have seen those who have seen me!\u201d Rasulallah\u2019s SAW successor <\/span>Imam al Zaman <\/span><\/i>AS may be physically hidden from our eyes, but his ethereal <\/span>noor<\/span><\/i> radiates through his <\/span>Dai.<\/span><\/i> We open our heart\u2019s eyes, the eyes of our <\/span>mohabbat<\/span><\/i>, and we realize the meaning and magnificence of Allah\u2019s <\/span>noor. <\/span><\/i>When we fill our eyes with Maula\u2019s TUS <\/span>deedar<\/span><\/i> and bow to him with pure intention and faith, we do so with the understanding that he is Allah\u2019s <\/span>vali<\/span><\/i> and the Imam\u2019s vicegerent. We see reflecting within him Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin RA, Syedna Taher Saifuddin RA, every Dai before him, and by extension every Imam, Panjatan Pak, and finally, Allah. Maula TUS delivers this sole, unbroken chain of <\/span>noor, <\/span><\/i>knowledge, and <\/span>mohabbat<\/span><\/i> to each and every <\/span>mumin <\/span><\/i>that treasures both Islam and <\/span>Imaan. <\/span><\/i>In return, Allah blesses us with his love, and his <\/span>noor<\/span><\/i> illuminates our eyes and souls, so that we may devote our life and worship to Him, and attain our salvation.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
